The information below explains how Eventify works and what you need to know as a conference attendee.

What Is Eventify?
Eventify is the event management platform behind the MAEDS conference system. It is used for conference registration, attendee information, schedules, sessions, and other event details.

The MAEDS app is the MAEDS-branded mobile version of this system. The same conference system can also be accessed through a web browser. Throughout this FAQ, you may see references to Eventify, the MAEDS app, or the MAEDS conference system - these are all part of the same system.

Who Has Access to Eventify?
There are two different roles associated with conference registration:

Registration Manager
The person who originally registered or purchased tickets for a group has access to the registration and can manage the people assigned to those tickets. This might be a director purchasing tickets for their staff, a secretary registering a department, or an individual registering themselves.

Ticket Holder
A person assigned one of those tickets is a ticket holder. Ticket holders have a personal profile in the MAEDS conference system and can access the conference information available to attendees.

The registration manager and ticket holder may be the same person, but they do not have to be. For example, a director may purchase five tickets but assign all five tickets to members of their staff. The director manages the registration, while the staff members are the ticket holders.

How Do I Access My Profile?
Once the MAEDS conference system is live, ticket holders can access the system through the MAEDS app on a mobile device or through a web browser.

Visit https://fall2026.maeds.org or open the MAEDS app and enter the email address associated with your ticket. No password is required. Eventify will send a one-time verification code to that email address.

Ticket holders can use the system to view their personal profile, conference information, schedules, sessions, and other available resources.

What If Someone Else Registered Me?
If someone else purchased or registered your ticket, you do not need access to their registration.

The person who registered the tickets manages the registration and ticket assignments. Once a ticket is assigned to you, you use your own email address to access your personal profile and the MAEDS conference system.

If you need to make changes to your personal information, you manage those through your own profile.

What If I Registered the Tickets but I'm Also Attending?
If you registered tickets for yourself or your group and you are also a ticket holder, you may have both roles.

As the registration manager, you can manage the registration and ticket assignments. As a ticket holder, you can access your personal profile and the MAEDS conference system.

If you purchased tickets for others but are not assigned a ticket yourself, you will have access to manage the registration but will not have a personal attendee profile in the conference system.
