MAEDS Spring PD Day 2010

This year's PD day will teach skills necessary to deploy and manage Windows 7 in both an AD and NDS environment!
Hotel Accommodations near Lansing Community College Campus
Registration will begin at 8:00 and opening remarks will start at 8:30. Lunch will be served around 12:00. We plan to end the day around 4:30.
General Session to include:
Microsoft Deployment Toolkit
AppLocker
PowerShell
Windows XP Compatibility Mode
PM Split Sessions will include:
Managing Windows 7 with Active Directory / Group Policy
Managing Windows 7 with Zen 10 (Note: NDS session will not be offered at REMC1)
Our Microsoft Speaker:
Matt Hester is a seasoned Information Technology Professional Evangelist for Microsoft. Matt has been involved in the IT Pro community for over 15 years. Matt is a skilled and experienced evangelist presenting to audiences nationally and internationally. Prior to joining Microsoft Matt was a highly successful Microsoft Certified Trainer for over 8 years. After joining Microsoft, Matt has continued to be heavily involved in IT Pro community as an IT Pro Evangelist. In his role at Microsoft Matt has presented to audiences in excess of 5000 and as small as 10. Matt has also published 4 articles for TechNet magazine and runs a successful blog with ~350K touches a month.

The 2010 Spring PD Day is being held at the Lansing Community College West Campus Conference Center.

LCC West Campus is located off 496 on the Creyts Road exit; turn right at the light (Creyts). Turn left at the next light (Mt Hope Highway). Continue on Mt Hope Highway for approximately a half-mile, turn left onto Sanders Drive (Just after the David Chapman Insurance Agency). The facility is straight ahead.
