Qualifications:

1.   A degree in Computer Science and Novell, Microsoft or CompTIA certification is preferred. 
2.   Knowledge of PC-based hardware, Microsoft Windows and Novell Netware. 
3.   Experience with Novell ZENworks for Desktops and VMWare is desired. 
4.   Must have at least 3 years of successful experience of supporting stand-alone and networked personal computers. 
5.   Must have the ability to diagnose and resolve computer desktop and network problems. 
6.   Must be able to develop positive personal and professional relationships with school staff. 
7.   Must have the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences. 
8.   Must be able to effectively document technical procedures and processes. 
9.   Must have knowledge of data wiring installation and trouble diagnosis.

Description:

1.   Responsible for providing quality, efficient and professional customer service using any product or service supported by the Technology Services department. 
2.   Install computer equipment, operating systems and software including updating/creating images and deploying software. 
3.   Maintain district computers, including but not limited to, hardware & software maintenance, imaging and testing. 
4.   Install/maintain network infrastructure including wiring, electronics, servers and network software. 
5.   Recommend and develop processes to improved efficiency, security and functionality of technology systems. 
6.   Write reports and documentation as requested by the Supervisor of Technology Systems. 
7.   Assist in the design and installation of technology systems. 
8.   Maintain an inventory of replacement parts, diagnostic software, tools, and manuals for the effective repair of district hardware. 
9.   Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor of Technology Systems.

The shock collars did not work as intended.  Sadly I forgot to check the batteries before the talk.  Perhaps next year!
